Getting the details right

Small decisions that make a big difference.

  • Sun and shade. We note where the afternoon sun hits so seating lands in the shade and planters get light.
  • Drainage. Patios are pitched away from the house. Downspouts and low spots are handled up front, not after the first summer storm.
  • Grade changes. Steps, seat walls and short retaining walls turn a sloped yard into usable space.
  • Small spaces too. A bistro corner, a reading nook or a dog-friendly side yard.

Pricing

What does a paver patio cost?

Every yard is different. Price depends on size, access, base prep, material and pattern. After a free visit, we give you a written, line-item estimate so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

Patio questions

Before you build.

Do I need a permit or HOA approval?

Permits and HOA approvals are the homeowner's responsibility, so check with your city or county and your HOA before work starts. We're happy to share the paver color and pattern details your application asks for.

Can you add on to my existing patio?

Yes. We match or complement the existing pavers and border the transition cleanly.

Can I build in phases?

Yes. We lay out the whole space first, so a fire pit or kitchen added later still fits.
